Frequently Asked Questions

What conditions do you treat?

Physiotherapists have a specialized training in musculoskeletal disorders and are able to treat the vast majority of injuries, aches, or pains. This includes many muscle, joint, or nerve pathologies as well as post-operative rehabilitation. Our initial consultation allows us to assess your condition and determine if you are likely to benefit from continued physiotherapy treatments. Please give us a call or book online to come in for an initial assessment with one of our therapists.

What types of health insurance do you accept?

We accept most third-party insurance providers or employer group benefits, as well as motor vehicle accident or WSIB insurance claims. However, we are unable to provide OHIP funded physiotherapy at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and are happy to discuss options with you.

Do I need a Doctor’s referral?

We do not require a referral from your doctor to receive treatment from us. However, some insurance companies require a doctor's referral for you to be eligible to claim your coverage. We ask that you contact your insurance company if you are unsure about this requirement.

How long are your appointments?

Our first assessment involves a detailed history and physical examination before moving into treatment and exercise prescriptions. Between all of this and any initial paperwork, plan to be here for around an hour. All treatment sessions following an initial assessment are booked for a 30 minute time period.
